Sandown sales soaring

Sandown Park have announced record advance sales for their forthcoming Stan James Christmas Festival raceday on December 26.

Jerry Kilby, the track’s managing director, said: “The sales for the 2005 Stan James Christmas Festival are going extremely well with over 80 per cent of Premier and 60 per cent of Grandstand badges already sold.

“With huge interest in the King George VI Steeplechase, the feature race on the day, it does look as if another sell out is likely.”
