Cast jets out to Hong Kong
Majors Cast will fly out on Thursday night ahead of his bid for glory in Hong Kong Mile on December 11.
The Jeremy Noseda-trained four-year-old produced a pleasing piece of work last weekend to signal his well-being ahead of the valuable contest at Sha Tin.
The trainer said on www.jeremynoseda.com: “He worked on Saturday over seven and a half furlongs on the grass with two lead horses. It was a good, solid piece of work.
“He seems in great order. It’s coming to the end of long, hard season for him but the signs are that he's in good shape. If he travels well, I would be hopeful he’ll run his usual, solid race and be competitive.”
A three-time winner in Dubai earlier this year, Majors Cast ran some solid races during the summer and finished third to Starcraft in the Prix du Moulin before his fifth-place in the Breeders’ Cup Mile.
