Uttoxeter avoids inspection

This afternoon’s meeting at Uttoxeter goes ahead after the threat of heavy frost failed to materialise.

Clerk of the course Keith Ottesen saw no need to call the scheduled precautionary 7.30am inspection as overnight temperatures did not dip under freezing.
