Uttoxeter call for Inspection

Uttoxeter have called a precautionary inspection for 7.30am tomorrow due to the threat of overnight frost.

Temperatures are forecast to remain above freezing but clerk of the course Keith Ottesen wants to check the track as there is a small chance of frost.

“It is purely a precautionary inspection. We are perfectly raceable at present but there is just the possibility of overnight frost,” he said.

“Temperatures are forecast to be plus two overnight but there is just a small chance of ground frost so we will take a look.”
