Moscow Flyer came through his final schooling session with flying colours in preparation for his run at Navan on Sunday.

Ridden by regular partner Barry Geraghty, the dual Queen Mother Champion Chase hero jumped three fences at trainer Jessica Harrington’s stables in County Kildare.

The 11-year-old is on course for the two-mile Fortria Chase, having won the Grade Two contest for the past two seasons.

“He jumped three fences with Barry on board,” said Mrs Harrington. “It went grand and we’re looking forward to Navan on Sunday.”

Moscow Flyer is already as short as 5-4 favourite to win the Queen Mother Champion Chase for a third time at Cheltenham in March.
