Godolphin trio to leave Melbourne

Godolphin’s three planned runners in the Emirates Melbourne Cup are to return from Australia, leaving the team without a runner in the big race on November 1.

Hopes had been mainly pinned on Fight Your Corner, who suffered a tendon injury in training and was ruled out, while Razkalla was a well-beaten 16th in the Caulfield Cup last weekend.
