Noel Meade will wait until Harchibald has fully recovered from a slight injury he picked up at Tipperary last weekend before deciding on plans for the Champion Hurdle runner-up.

Harchibald made a winning return to action in the Grade One John James McManus Memorial Hurdle but returned home with a minor problem.

“He has banged his heel and has just had an easy week,” said Meade. “He is not lame but I will wait and see how he is before deciding where to run.”
