Anglo-Irish Bank in €500,000 National Hunt sponsorship deal

Anglo-Irish Bank have announced a €500,000 sponsorship of National Hunt racing over the next three years.

The deal, launched in Limerick last night, centres on their backing of the Supreme Novice Hurdle, the opening race of the Cheltenham Festival.

They will also be title sponsors of five other races, building up to that meeting.

The new deal is in addition to their continuing support of today's Limerick showpiece, the Munster Grand National.

And it is a big Sunday of racing in Ireland with Beef or Salmon in action at the Curragh, while it's also Munster National day at Limerick.
