Carter verdict due next week

A verdict is expected early next week after the UK's Jockey Club concluded their inquiry into whether former jockey Gary Carter, among others, breached the rules of racing.

The disciplinary panel considered a number of charges against Carter, including eight alleged instances of either communicating information about horses he was due to ride which was not publicly available, or alternatively aiding and abetting corrupt practices.
