Nannina just got the better of Alexandrova to claim a thrilling renewal of the Group One Meon Valley Stud Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket.

The John Gosden-trained youngster was racing neck and neck with her rival in the final furlong but the 5-1 shot dug deepest to prevail by a short head.
