Terms given America target
Favourable Terms is set to tackle next month’s Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes en-route to America for the Breeders’ Cup.
The five-year-old made a winning return to action after a long lay-off at Doncaster last week and connections have set their sights on the Filly And Mare Turf at Belmont on October 29.
Michael Stoute’s mare had been absent from the track since winning the Group One Nassau Stakes in July last year, but looked as good as ever when beating Nufoos by two lengths in the Listed Sceptre Stakes on Town Moor.
Before Favourable Terms jets out to America, Stoute plans to give her another outing at Newmarket on October 1.
Joe Mercer, racing manager to her owner, Sheikh Maktoum Al Maktoum, said: “The Sun Chariot will be her next outing but, as a fresh horse, we are keen to make up for lost time and the Filly And Mare Turf at Belmont looks an ideal race for her after Newmarket.”
