Chepstow abandons Flat programme

Chepstow will not resume racing until October 8 as the track needs longer to recover from the problems caused by insect larvae.

The Welsh course has been out of action since racing was abandoned on September 2 following Pat Dobbs’ fall from Roll The Dice.
