Fallon: Oratorio in great shape

Kieren Fallon is looking forward to teaming up with Oratorio in the Baileys Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday.

He reported the Aidan O’Brien-trained colt to be in fine shape ahead of the Group One contest over a mile and a quarter.

Oratorio will be hoping to repeat his Coral-Eclipse Stakes victory over Vodafone Derby winner Motivator on his latest start at Sandown in early July.

“He’s in good form. He’s improved a lot from the start of the year. He’s just progressed. He looks great,” said Fallon.

“I’ve not ridden him in any of his work recently. His regular rider’s been sitting on him. Aidan’s happy with him and that’s good enough for me.”
