Cole one-two at Deauville

Paul Cole’s French raid came up trumps as Eisteddfod and Andronikos brought home a one-two for the Whatcombe handler in the Prix de Meautry Lucien Barriere at Deauville.

Four of the six runners in the Group Three sprint were British-trained and Mick Channon’s Turnkey set the pace for most of the race.
