Goodwood save ground for feature
Runners at Goodwood’s fixture on Sunday, which features the £100,000 (€147,190) totesport Celebration Mile, will race on a fresh strip of ground.
Clerk of the course Seamus Buckley explained: “The running rail, which has been dolled out approximately seven metres from the six-furlong pole round the lower bend, will be removed after racing on Saturday, providing a fresh strip of ground for Sunday’s meeting.”
The going at the Sussex venue is good.
