Maraahel out of Winter stakes
Maraahel, owned by Hamdan Al Maktoum, will miss Saturday’s totepool Winter Hill Stakes at Windsor.
He horse was unlcky to a end up close third in a thrilling finish to the Juddmonte International last week.
The four-year-old, trained by Sir Michael Stoute, would have been a leading fancy for the Group Three contest over a mile and a quarter after being beaten inches by Electrocutionist and Zenno Rob Roy at York.
“He won’t run at Windsor. As for future plans, I’ve not spoken to anyone about them yet,” said Angus Gold, racing manager Hamdan Al Maktoum.
