Vegas team still targeting Leger

Mr Vegas is still on course for next month’s Ladbrokes St Leger despite finishing a tailed-off last at Deauville yesterday.

Peter Chapple-Hyam’s hope for the final Classic of the season took on older horses in the Group Two Prix Kergorlay, won by Alcazar, and disputed the lead until weakening rapidly from three furlongs out on the soft ground.
