Goodricke, runner up in the Prix Maurice de Gheest, could now tackle next month’s William Hill Sprint Cup at Haydock.

The David Loder-trained three-year-old was only beaten a neck by Whipper in the Group One event over six and a half furlongs at Deauville last Sunday.
