Goodwood Cup winner Distinction heads a list of 24 British entries for the Emirates Melbourne Cup in November.

The Sir Michael Stoute-trained gelding was sixth in the two-mile Australian showpiece last year and he is already a 12-1 chance with Paddy Power after winning at Goodwood and finishing second in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot at York.
