Masterpiece has Goodwood date

Court Masterpiece has a choice of engagements at Glorious Goodwood next week with the Betfair Cup on Tuesday the five-year-old’s probable Target.

Trainer Ed Dunlop is also considering the Cantor Odds Sussex Stakes the following day as an option for the entire.

“Court Masterpiece always runs well at Goodwood and it makes sense to confirm him for the Sussex and to keep an eye on that race,” Dunlop told the Racing Post.

“The Lennox (Betfair Cup) is full of similar horses and, should it stand up, it will undoubtedly be one of the most competitive races of the entire week.

“I’m pleased with my horse and he’s an intended runner for Goodwood.

“I’ll make up my mind which race at the beginning of the week.”
