Ouija Board has been given a clean bill of health after being X-rayed today and will be back in training soon.

The dual Oaks-winning filly’s early-season preparation was delayed with a splint on her off-fore and she belatedly returned to the track in last month’s Prince Of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot at York.

Ed Dunlop’s star was a lacklustre seventh of eight runners that day, but came back without a shoe on the same leg and it was later discovered that she had suffered a small stress fracture to her near-fore cannonbone.

Peter Stanley, racing manager to her owner Lord Derby, said: “She had some satisfactory X-rays done this afternoon and is absolutely fine.

“We are very happy with her progress and she will be ridden again shortly.”
