Etlaala, a disappointment in the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot at York, has been given the thumbs up to tackle the Group One Darley July Cup at Newmarket on Thursday week.

Angus Gold, racing manager to owner Sheikh Hamdan, said the one-time 2000 Guineas hope would stick to sprinting for now.
