Camacho makes Haydock return
Camacho aims to make up for lost time after being sidelined through injury since last September when returning in the Option Hygiene Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock tomorrow.
The Danehill colt made a winning debut at Newmarket last July but damaged a knee on his only other start at Doncaster two months later when third to Librettist.
“He cracked a knee last year which was pinned and he missed the end of the season,” said David Lanagan, assistant to trainer Henry Cecil.
“He has done well between two and three and will appreciate a bit of juice in he ground.
“I’d like to think that he is a nice horse for the season but we can only do so much with them at home so we’ll see how he runs and then come up with a plan.”
