All Too Beautiful, runner-up in last season’s Vodafone Oaks, will make her seasonal bow in the totepool Middleton Stakes at York tomorrow.
Aidan O’Brien’s filly kicks off her four-year-old campaign in the Group Three contest over an extended mile and a quarter after finishing third in the Blandford Stakes last September on her last outing.
O’Brien said: “She’s in good form and is ready for a run and I’d be hopeful. Like most of ours she’ll come on for the run, but as for plans for the season, we’ll just take it one race at a time and see how we start.”
The daughter of Sadler’s Wells will be having just her sixth career outing tomorrow and she will face four rivals.
Michael Stoute’s Poise is an interesting runner after winning her only start in a Windsor maiden last season, while the William Jarvis-trained La Persiana will be bidding to step up on her recent third in the Dahlia Stakes.
Luca Cumani’s Selebela, second in the Galtres Stakes on the Knavesmire last year, and Charlie Swan’s Irish raider Saintly Rachel complete the line-up.
