Attraction enjoyed her first piece of work on the turf track at Sha Tin this morning ahead of her big clash with Silent Witness at the weekend.

The Mark Johnston-trained filly is in Hong Kong for the Champions Mile, where she will do battle with the unbeaten local champion on Saturday.

The daughter of Efisio covered seven furlongs in total, clocking the final 400m in 23.8 seconds under rider Mark Billingham.

Middleham-based Johnston arrives today to oversee her preparation for the rest of the week.

Silent Witness, meanwhile, scorched through a short, sharp all-weather workout.

Accompanied by a stable companion, the Tony Cruz-trained six-year-old broke from the gates at the 400m under Felix Coetzee and covered the distance in 21.7 seconds.

Cruz had earlier watched fellow Champions Mile contenders Bullish Luck and Perfect Partner work equally well on the same surface, and he said: “They all worked very well.”
