Fracas victory fails to clear Derby picture

Fracas maintained his unbeaten record in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at Leopardstown today but the muddy waters surrounding the Vodafone Derby are no clearer.

David Wachman’s son of In The Wings hit the front heading towards the final furlong but had to battle tooth and nail to beat John Oxx’s Alayan by a short head in an exciting finish.
