Indian Star hearing set for tomorrow

A hearing into appeals by trainer John Tuck and jockey Jodie Mogford against punishments handed out over the running of Indian Star at Ludlow will be held tomorrow.

A hearing into appeals by trainer John Tuck and jockey Jodie Mogford against punishments handed out over the running of Indian Star at Ludlow will be held tomorrow.

Tuck was fined £2,000 and Mogford was suspended for 14 days after Indian Star finished fourth in the J O Hambro Investment Management And Ludlow RP Selling Hurdle on March 24.

The seven-year-old was also banned from running for 40 days under the ‘non-trier’ rule.

The hearing before the Jockey Club disciplinary panel is due to start at 10.30am.
