O'Brien duo likely for Guineas

Footstepsinthesand and Oratorio are Aidan O’Brien’s most likely contenders for the UltimatePoker.com 2000 Guineas.

The Ballydoyle handler has 10 entries in the April 30 race and he told the Racing Post: “At this stage, Footstepsinthesand and Oratorio are possibles for the Guineas. They are getting there fitness-wise and the next week will tell us a lot more.”

Footstepsinthesand marked out his potential last season with a Group Three win while Oratorio was successful at Group One level, taking the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere last October.
