Rule Supreme will definitely take his chance at Aintree this week but trainer Willie Mullins is undecided which race the Irish Hennessy Gold Cup winner will line up for.

Rule Supreme will definitely take his chance at Aintree this week but trainer Willie Mullins is undecided which race the Irish Hennessy Gold Cup winner will line up for.

Following his third place in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, Rule Supreme has the choice of two races at the Grand National meeting.

He is entered in the John Smith’s And Batleys Liverpool Hurdle as well as the Betfair Bowl over the fences of the Mildmay course.

“He is running, but with the forecast rain we are going to wait and see what happens and decide in the morning,” said Mullins.

“I suppose we would prefer to go for the chase, but the whole thing is wide open at the moment, although the rain is good news either way we go.”
