Mullen handed three-day ban
Apprentice Andrew Mullen was stood down for three days by the stewards at Kempton Park today for causing interference in the Coral Rosebery Stakes.
The 7lb-claimer, riding fourth-placed Dumaran for Willie Musson, was adjudged to have moved sharply right when not sufficiently clear after about three furlongs of the 10-furlong contest.
The interference affected eventual runner-up St Andrews as well as Secretary General and Momtic.
Mullen, who was penalised for careless riding, will be out of action from April 6 to 8.
The stewards also banned Duran Fentiman for one day (April 6) for failing to ride to his draw on Il Pranzo in the CiSTM Racing Club Handicap Stakes.
