Espresso win eases Best Mate backers' fears

Fans of Best Mate eager for signs that all is well at the Henrietta Knight yard received a tonic yesterday with the victory of Espresso Forte at Hereford.

Knight's stable has been having a quiet time of late, and with the Cheltenham Festival just over a week away the result of the Hereford Truck Show Novices’ Handicap Hurdle took on a little more significance than might otherwise have been the case.
