Doncaster call further inspection

Doncaster will hold a further inspection at 9am ahead of this afternoon’s meeting.

Officials walked the track at 7.30am but that look proved inconclusive with some heavy snow having fallen earlier this morning.

Clerk of the course Jon Pullin said: “We will have another look. At 6am we had just a light covering of snow and although temperatures had fallen to minus one, we would have been OK.

“Between 6am and now though we have had some heavy snow. If it stops soon or turns to sleet it will melt away and we will be perfectly raceable. We will just give it a bit more time.”
