Musselburgh gets go-ahead

This afternoon’s meeting at Musselburgh goes ahead after the track passed a 6.45am inspection.

Clerk of the course Bill Farnsworth had been concerned by the prospect of a heavy overnight frost but he reports the track to be in good shape this morning.

He said: “Everything is fine and we are racing. We have had a bit of frost through the night but we are up to two degrees already.”
