Apprentice Robert Miles left the Jockey Club’s London headquarters vowing to get his career back on track after being handed a six-month suspension for failing a drugs test.

The rider was told at today’s disciplinary panel hearing that no application for a rider’s licence would be considered until July 27 this year.
