Keepatem gives O'Dwyer double
Keepatem, owned by JP McManus, landed a gamble in the 30-runner Paddy Power Chase over three miles to complete a double for Conor O'Dwyer.
Backed down to 7-2 favourite, Mouse Morris’s charge led after the last and galloped on strongly to beat Jaquouille (9-1) by four lengths, with Kymandjen (25-1) third.
The Galway Man set off in front from Kymandjen as McCoy’s mount Oh Be The Hokey and Carneys Cross fell at the first fence.
The Galway Man kept up the gallop until the last two fences when he was collared by Kymandjen, Jaquouille and Keepatem, who had been making steady progress on the inside.
Kymandjen, runner-up in this race 12 months ago, briefly looked like springing a surprise, but he had to settle for minor honours.
