Rtacing at Wetherby hit by frost

This afternoon's meeting at Wetherby has been abandoned due to frost.

Chief executive Tim Betteridge later announced that the meeting had fallen to the frost.

“I’m afraid we’re off,” he said.

“If anything it has got a little bit worse as the sun has come up. It’s disappointing but at least we had a very enjoyable day here yesterday.”
