Trainer Jonjo O’Neill is considering a return to racecourse action for his top-class stayer Iris’s Gift around Christmas.

Last season’s Stayers’ Hurdle hero is making a good recovery from a serious leg injury and is closing in on a seasonal debut for the Jackdaws Castle handler.
