My Will grabs punters' eyes

My Will looks destined to take high rank among the season’s novice chasers judged on his highly-impressive debut over fences at Market Rasen today.

The Paul Nicholls-trained four-year-old, a smart juvenile hurdler last season, never put a foot wrong on the soft ground for Mick Fitzgerald and cruised clear after jumping the fourth last to score eased down by 15 lengths from Nowator.

He is well suited by soft ground and will get further than this two miles in time.

Members of his age group are favoured by the weights in novice events and this exciting prospect could run up a sequence if we get plenty of rain this winter.
