Ouija breeders' decision imminent

Ed Dunlop will decide over the weekend whether to send dual Classic heroine Ouija Board for the Breeders’ Cup at Lone Star Park on October 30.

The Newmarket trainer is also weighing up which race to go for should Lord Derby’s pride and joy travel to Texas – the Filly & Mare Turf or the Turf, where she would meet the colts.

“We still haven’t made a total decision but we are very seriously considering going,” Dunlop told BBC Radio 5 Live. “It’s a sporting gesture by the owner, who may never have another horse good enough to run in a Breeders’ Cup.

“There are two options for her there as well and we will think about everything over the weekend and then come to a decision. Hopefully, we will make the right one.”
