Fallon injury fears fade

Fears that Kieren Fallon had suffered a serious injury in a race fall faded tonight as the champion jockey underwent tests in a Leicester hospital.

He was carried into an ambulance by stretcher and taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary after being hurled to the ground as his mount stumbled in the penultimate race at the east midlands track.
