Bago (10-1) restored his reputation when swooping late to land the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe Lucien Barriere at Longchamp today.

Unbeaten as a juvenile, the son of Nashwan had been hailed as a potential wonder horse, but had lost his way with two recent reverses.
