Sir Stanley Clarke dies, aged 71

Sir Stanley Clarke, founder of Northern Racing and owner of 1997 Grand National winner Lord Gyllene, has died at the age of 71.

Sir Stanley Clarke, founder of Northern Racing and owner of 1997 Grand National winner Lord Gyllene, has died at the age of 71.

Clarke had been battling illness since 2000 and he passed away at his home in Barton-under-Needwood in Staffordshire.
