All Too Beautiful leads Ballydoyle march
Vodafone Oaks second All Too Beautiful is one of six Aidan O’Brien-trained horses among 14 fillies left in at today’s confirmation stage for the Vodafone Nassau Stakes at Goodwood on Saturday.
Five of the Ballydoyle trainer’s possibles are three-year-olds, the others being Kisses For Me, Lucky, Necklace and Royal Tigress.
The odd one out is last year’s Irish 1000 Guineas winner Yesterday, who was also runner-up in the 2003 Oaks at Epsom.
Godolphin are double-handed with Echoes In Eternity and Zosima.
Michael Stoute, who sent out Russian Rhythm to take this prize 12 months ago, could rely on Ascot Group Two victor Favourable Terms.
Newmarket trainer Clive Brittain has Menhoubah, winner of the Italian Oaks, while there is one German possible, the Andreas Lowe-trained Shapira, winner of the German 1000 Guineas.
The oldest horse in the list is the five-year-old Chorist. William Haggas’s charge is fresh from a successful raid on the Group One Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh.
Nassau Stakes: Chorist, Echoes In Eternity, Favourable Terms, Silence Is Golden, Yesterday, All Too Beautiful, Kisses For Me, Lucky, Menhoubah, Necklace, Royal Tigress, Sahool, Shapira, Zosima (14).
