Unscrupulous ruled out of Ascot run on Saturday
Ante-post favourite Unscrupulous has been ruled out of Saturday’s Tote International Stakes at Ascot.
The five-year-old had been as low as 6-1 with Ladbrokes for the seven-furlong feature after winning the Buckingham Palace Stakes at the Royal meeting.
But he was not among the 48 horses left in the race today.
Trainer James Fanshawe said: “He has injured a joint and is unlikely to race before the end of this year.”
