The €50,000 Midlands National Handicap Chase is the highlight of tonight’s card at Kilbeggan and the Oliver McKiernan-trained Star Performance is tipped in the 10 runner contest.

The nine-year-old showed useful form in novice chases two seasons ago and returned from a spell of point-to-pointing with a three-and-a-half length second to Saor Theas at Navan in May.
