Dettori makes his point

Frankie Dettori got his followers off to a flying start at Ascot today with victory on Pivotal Point.

The Italian was in front of his rivals after a furlong of the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Handicap, and in the last furlong his mount had the measure of Jimmy Ryan to prevail by a length.
