Moore hit with one day ban

Jockey Jamie Moore was suspended for one day by the stewards at Worcester last night for using his whip with excessive frequency on Whispered Secret.

The Martin Pipe-trained five-year-old was headed after the last but rallied to lead close home before winning the Senad Group Novices’ Hurdle by half a length from Houseparty.
