Tony James bids to put a Royal Ascot defeat behind him when he lines up for the TNT July Stakes at Newmarket tomorrow.

Following an easy success at Pontefract, Clive Brittain’s charge took a hike in class to finish fourth in the Coventry Stakes at the Royal meeting.
