Dahjee, a full-brother to the brilliant Dubai Millennium, makes his racecourse debut at Kempton tomorrow night.

The three-year-old colt will be ridden by Frankie Dettori and faces nine rivals when lining up for the Book Now For Gala Night Maiden Stakes over a mile and a half.

Owned by Godolphin and trained by Saeed bin Suroor, Dahjee has a hard act to follow in Dubai Millennium who won nine of his 10 starts, including four Group One races, before being tragically killed by a bout of grass sickness in April 2001.

Dubai Millennium recently had his first winner as a sire when Dubawi scored at Goodwood and the ill-fated stallion has has 34 two-year-olds in training, 27 with Saeed bin Suroor, two with Clive Brittain, two with John Dunlop, two with Sir Michael Stoute and one with Michael Jarvis.
