Attraction on target for Newmarket test

Attraction is on course to face older fillies for the first time in the UAE Equestrian And Racing Federation Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket next week.

The three-year-old will be seeking her fourth successive Group One triumph in the €300,000 contest over a mile on the opening day of the July meeting.

Mark Johnston’s charge has already completed an amazing hat-trick at the highest level against fillies of her own generation with victories in the English and Irish 1000 Guineas and the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.

“Everything is on track and she should go to the Falmouth next week,” said Johnston.

“Things are absolutely fantastic. She lost eight kilos in the Coronation and put it back on within two days, so was back cantering three days after the Ascot race.

“She has put 13 kilos back on. That’s typical – she’s so laid-back.

“We are going to take her to the High Moor for a spin just to take another two kilos off. That should put her right next week.”
